Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College announced that the fifth annual Louis Armstrong’s Wonderful World Festival will take place on Saturday, July 21st at the historic Flushing Meadows Corona Park, the same borough where Louis Armstrong lived for more than twenty years and within walking distance of the Louis Armstrong House Museum.

Celebrate Louis Armstrong’s lasting legacy in an open-air concert with Flushing’s finest rapper Action Bronson and New Orleans’ first-rate brass ensemble The Soul Rebels. The performances will channel the rich jazz influences of Armstrong, staying true to his mantra that “You gotta listen to all types of music.”

The Wonderful World Festival has a history of bringing internationally acclaimed talent to the heart of Queens. Best of all? All the performances are absolutely free, and no registration is required to attend the event.
